Make Father's Day un-FORE-gettable with Confection Couture's Father's Day Cookie Confection Collection

“Putt” a smile on his face this Father’s Day with Confection Couture’s Father’s Day Stencil Collection!

Decorate cookies, cupcakes, party favors, greeting cards, or anything else you can think of. The Father’s Day Confection Collection includes a dozen stencil designs on six different stencils and are crafted of 10 mil food-grade Mylar. These stencils also work well with both airbrushing and royal icing.

Here's what you'll need:

Father’s Day Confection Collection

Quadrant Masking Tool

Gyro-Cut Craft and Hobby Cutting Tool

AirGenie Airbrush System

Stencil Genie Cookie Decorating Tool

DecoPac Airbrush Food Coloring

Plastic Bottle with Dropper Tip  2 oz 3 pk

Magnet for Cookie Stencils 10 Pc Set

Use the Plastic Bottle with Dropper for mixing colors. If using the Amerimist Food Coloring as is, replace the cap with the cap from the dropper bottle to more precisely controlling the amount of food color.

Once the AirGenie is assembled and ready, load the first color into the airbrush tool.

Next, load the first stencil into the Stencil Genie.

Use the Magnets for Cookie Stencils to help hold the stencil flush over the top of the cookie.

Always test the airbrush color flow on a folded paper towel or piece of paper before moving to the actual cookie.

Use a long needle or similar tool to prevent lifting of any portion of the stencil during color application.

As always, apply the color using light, even coats. Always be sure to angle your stencil tool as close as possible to 90° in relation to the stencil.

Glad Press’n Seal works great for masking stencils with more intricate design elements.

Apply light pressure to remove any wrinkles or bubbles.

Next, use the Gyro-Cut Craft and Hobby Cutting Tool to cut around the desired design element and then peel away the cut portion.

Before applying the next color, be sure to rinse the airbrush tool thoroughly with clean water. Also, run clean water through the tool with air from the AirGenie system repeatedly until the spray runs clear.

Repeat the masking and airbrushing techniques for the next color.

The stencil can easily be cleaned by letting them soak for a minute or two in a bowl of clean water. Then, pat the stencil dry using a lint-free towel.

The Quadrant Masking Tool works great for quickly masking around stencil elements.

Wash, rinse, repeat for other stencils and cookies.

Clotting of the food coloring can sometimes occur, especially if the airbrush tool sits for a period of time with the color still loaded. This is why it’s so important to test out the spray before each and every cookie.

Continue on with the next color. Be more creative with the included text stencil!

Repeat the process for all remaining cookies and chosen stencils.

Happy Father's Day!
