A world-renowned sugar artist most recognized for her pioneering work in 3-D cookies, and the author of two books, 13 e-books, and an app, all about cookie decorating, Julia travels the globe teaching cookie and cake art. Julia is a Past President of the International Association of Culinary Professionals; a James Beard and Edible Artists Global Awards finalist; and the winner of numerous Cordon d’ Or, Cake Masters, and Oklahoma State Sugar Art Show (OSSAS) awards for her outstanding work and leadership in the sugar arts. When not teaching in person, Julia produces instructional videos for her popular YouTube channel, Recipes for a Sweet Life, and oversees Cookie Connection, the world’s largest online cookie decorating community. She also enjoys judging her namesake cookie art competition at the OSSAS and the Cake Masters Awards each year.
