Sizing & Cookie Cutter Recommendations: 

These sets will work best when used with a 3 or 4 inch cookie cutter. We used the Hexagon Plaque Cookie Cutter and the Mitten shaped cookie cutter, but feel free to pair with other cookie cutters!

• Large Plaid: Overall pattern 5" x 5", individual checks around .65"
• Small Plaid: Overall pattern 5" x 5", individual checks around .45"
• Extra Small Plaid: Overall pattern 4 3/4" x 4 3/4", individual checks around .3"
• Stencil Sheet: 5 1/2" wide without the tab and fits into a standard Stencil Genie

Cool Stenciling Tools

• If airbrushing, we love using the Screen Genie in conjunction with the Stencil Genie for the crispest airbrushed lines. 
• If applying this stripe with royal icing, we like to dollop the icing on with an offset spatula, then scraping off with our royal icing scraper and smoothing tool. 

Helpful Tips for This Stencil

• Are you airbrushing? Check out our basic cookie airbrushing tips.
• If using this with royal icing, make sure when smoothing/scraping the icing off, you work in one fluid motion - in one direction. Making it almost level with the stencil itself.
