About this item

Add an elegant winter finish to your holiday baking with the Jeweled Snowflakes Cake & Cookie Stencil Trio by Designer Stencils. Three intricate snowflake designs combine delicate points, decorative dots, curved lines, and jewel-inspired shapes for Christmas desserts, winter weddings, and snowy celebrations.

Choose a large trio for cake tops and other centerpiece desserts, or select the Small or Mini trio for cookies and petite treats. Create coordinating designs across your holiday dessert table with royal icing, buttercream, airbrushing, or a light dusting of powdered sugar or cocoa.

Sizing & What’s Included

Each size option includes three individual snowflake stencils. Choose one size when ordering; each trio is sold separately.

Set Snowflake design size Stencil sheet size Suggested uses
Large Approximately 5⅜″ or less 6¾″ Cake tops, chocolate tortes, pies, and cheesecakes.
Small Approximately 2½″ 3¾″ Iced sugar cookies and larger cookie favors.
Mini Approximately 1¾″ 2¾″ Smaller cookies, chocolate-covered sandwich cookies, and larger macarons with sufficient flat decorating space.

Design measurements refer to the snowflake artwork, not the sheet or finished cookie. Measure the usable decorating surface and allow space around the design.

Cakes, Cookies & Desserts to Decorate

  • Holiday cakes: Center a Large snowflake on a smooth round cake top. A 6″ cake can accommodate the artwork where the full top is usable; an 8″ cake provides more room for borders.
  • Chocolate cakes and tortes: Dust powdered sugar over a cooled, level top for an intricate white snowflake.
  • Cheesecakes and pies: Use cocoa on a pale, smooth surface or powdered sugar on a darker surface. Choose firm, flat tops without loose toppings or raised crust details.
  • Decorated sugar cookies: Use Small or Mini designs over fully dried royal icing for winter cookie platters, edible gifts, and party favors.
  • Chocolate-covered treats: Stencil onto a smooth, fully set coating. Test a sample first, as color adhesion varies with the decorating medium.
  • Macarons: Choose shells with enough flat space for the complete Mini design. Curved or uneven shells may soften the fine details.

Decorating Options

  • Royal icing: Apply a thin, even layer of stencil-consistency royal icing over fully dried cookie icing, firm fondant, or another suitable set surface.
  • Buttercream: Use a thin layer of smooth, stencil-consistency buttercream over a firmly chilled buttercream cake for raised detail.
  • Airbrushing: Apply food-safe airbrush color in light passes over fully dried royal icing, smooth fondant, or firm, dry buttercream. Keep the stencil close and mask surrounding areas to prevent overspray.
  • Powdered sugar or cocoa: Sift lightly onto a level dessert top, then lift the stencil straight up. Decorate shortly before serving to help preserve the fine dots and lines.

Try white snowflakes against icy blue icing, blue designs against white cookie icing, or powdered sugar over rich chocolate cake.

For Best Results

Start with a smooth, firm surface free of condensation. Keep applications light so the small openings remain defined. Let flooded cookie icing dry completely before stenciling, and clean and dry the stencil between uses.

For a more dimensional finish, add small piped icing accents after the stenciled design has set.
