Valentines Day is just around the corner so make sure your cookies are decorated for the occasion with these lovely cookie stencil designs covered in hearts, X's, and O's. These stencils are great for icing or airbrushing! The tools used in this guide are listed below:

Let's start by icing the Valentines Swag background cookie stencil. Start by loading the Valentines Swag stencil into the Stencil Genie and place it on top of your cookie. Line up the design where you want to decorate your cookie. Use the Offset Tapered Baker's Spatula to put a bit of royal icing onto the stencil. With the icing in place, use the mylar cookie scraper to spread the icing smoothly through the stencil. Once the icing is smoothly spread lift the stencil and Stencil Genie straight off the cookie the surface. Repeat for as many cookies you have!

To airbrush your cookies, load the stencil into your Stencil Genie and place over your cookie. Place your cookie magnets around the edge of the cookie so that the design is held flush to the surface. Before you start airbrushing, test the flow of the airbrush food colorant on a piece of paper towel. The food colorant we're using is Amerimist Red Red. Once you have the colorant coming out at an even rate begin to lightly build the color on the cookie surface. It should take a few passes. This ensures the food colorant does not bead up and run beneath the stencil design. Once done, remove the cookie magnets and lift the stencil straight off the surface of your cookie.

Our cookie stencils can be used over and over again and clean easily. For each repeat, place down the cookie magnets and build the airbrush color slowly and evenly.
