How to Use Your Christmas Sweater Cookie Stencil

This set includes two overlays: a sweater silhouette for creating the base shape and a sweater design overlay for adding the decorative details. A matching sweater cookie cutter is optional.

Using the matching sweater cutter:

1. Bake your sweater cookies, cool completely, then flood with royal icing. Allow the icing to dry completely.

2. Position the sweater design overlay over the cookie. Apply a thin layer of stencil-consistency royal icing or airbrush with edible color.

3. Carefully lift the stencil straight up and let the design dry.

Using a different cookie shape:

1. Flood a cookie large enough to fit the full sweater design and let it dry completely.

2. Use the silhouette overlay to stencil a sweater-shaped base with royal icing or airbrush color. Lift the stencil and let the base dry completely.

3. Align the sweater design overlay over the base, then stencil or airbrush the details in a contrasting color.
